Braun is an excellent defenseman he would fit well with Toronto.

If the Leafs want to pay Cernak over 4.2 million than they'll have to trade for him, the O.S. compensation is a 2nd Rd pick. More than 4.2 O.S. the compensation is 1st and 3rd picks.

I would absolutely LOVE to see all of these moves happen -- and not just because of the Clifford pick upgrade.

I think you'd get a third for Johnsson and a second for Kerfoot.

It's a downgrade, not a loss.

Robertson will not make the team next year.
Needs one more year to get stronger.

I like the moves though. Move engvall to the third line and barbanov in
Sandin is also not ready to be on the top pair yet.

Marner made the team as a small skilled 19 year old. If Barbie doesn't make the team his contract has an European clause, so he ain't accepting an assignment to the AHL.

I said put Barbie in and NOT to the AHL.
Marner was a 5th overall pick, which means he should be in the NHL then.
Robertson was a 2nd rounder. I think he will be good or so it looks but still not ready.
