Ghost to Winnipeg Philly Fans thoughts

Description
I've been seeing Flyers posts where the club uses a CBO on Ghost. LHD remains a strength of the Flyers organization so $4.5M on a guy who is fighting to crack their top 6 might be better spent elsewhere. What do you think fair value would be?

How about a RHD prospect instead of a winger? Gawanke seems to have some nice stats. Would he work instead?

I doubt the Jets want to give up on Gawanke this early in his development. He made a big impact in the AHL this year, somewhat unexpectedly.
Also, the Jets don't have a lot of RHD prospects either, so I don't see them moving one.

Long long time Flyers fan

I’ve seen JVR and even Voracek as CBO candidates but not ONCE have I seen Ghost mentioned. Zero chance he’s bought out.

The reason for moving Ghost is expansion. We can’t go the 4/4 route and must go 7/3/1. Provorov,Sanheim and Myers are the likely protected defenders leaving Ghost the odd man out.

I’d prefer to play him next year to rebuild some value and move him right before expansion. By then the hope would be either York or Zamula would be ready to contribute. A right handed defenseman prospect would be preferred as stated previously

I'm sure if the Jets felt that Ghost would be a good fit, they would look at that.
