That's a no from Minnesota. Kaprizov I think will be better than Nug. And they have to give JEE and all they get is Jesse and a first. Not a bad start but it would take more to stray Kaprizov away from Minnesota

Well we dont have much more to give, they have said before they dont need D and our cupboards for forwards are pretty bare. But they can get someone good in this years draft. I dont know who else to give. But it sure solves a lot of problems for the OILERS

The 1st is way too much if Nuge comes with an extension. If not sure Kaprizov is *that* good and there's always a risk with Russians that something doesn't translate.

You do realize that Nuge had basically the same production in the NHL as Kaprizov had in the KHL this year?

Yes, my whole Idea is to turn Nuge into 2 goot players instead of one. Which I have been doing not so successfully so far. Wild need a top center as well. I started this trade with a 3rd instead of a first. but I am not sure if that is enough.

Why not trade Eric staal for Evan Bouchar and Kailer Yamamoto!
Sure Eric Staal come with a extension, that why this trade make all sense

More nonsense. So the Oilers tell a valuable member of their team RNH, "We don't want you anymore, so you negotiate an extension with the Wild. If you can't come to an agreement you're welcome back as an Oiler." If I'm the Wild, I wouldn't sign RHN, but if the Oilers want to allow a team to "negotiate" his UFA contract , I would listen.

I understand that line of thinking. Unfortunately what you've done is turn 3 assets into 2, not 1 into 2. Eriksson Ek has a limited ceiling (3C), he probably has a bit more value that JP right now but JP undoubtedly has a higher ceiling than 3rd line. Nuge extended has more value than Kaprizov.

Then you add the #20 overall pick to the trade too? That pick is worth more than Puljujarvi or Eriksson Ek for sure, you shouldn't use it as a throw-in here.

What I have done is what I always say not to do. Dont speed up the PROCESS. I turned 1 playing asset into 3 playing asset. Poolparty is not wanted by most teams IMO and that leaves Carolina as a trading partner hor him. Either that or he stays in Finland for another year. Kaprizov is on his way over already and Eriksson is a player I really like and actually lol my whole trade started from getting him. I think he is going to be fantastic. I heard rumors last off season that both teams were talking Eriksson for Poolparty. dam I wished that happened. Poolparty scares me, what if he is a mama's boy and never comes here?
