This is just not the player Van would consider moving. If there is a deal between these teams to be made it either goes bigger with Boeser or smaller with cap relief.

I agree that this doesn't make sense for either team. At this point Hronek is Detroit's best defenseman.

I agree I don't see Vancouver trading Horvat. I have no idea how Vancouver even values Horvat, is this trade even close fair? I also don't see Yzerman spending big on a winger when the need for a center is far more pressing.

Van would value Horvat more than every other team for intangibles anyway. Petey, Miller. Hughes, Demko, Podkolzin and Hoglander are conversation nonstarters. Markstrom would only be a conversation if he can't be resigned. Boeser would only be movable if people dont try to drop his value because of injuries. Basically Van isn't looking to acquire many big assets, they're mostly looking to bribe someone to take contracts. Loui can't really be moved so it's like Brandon Sutter and Sven Baertchi giveaway time. Nothing major.
