Description
This is the 31 in 31 challenge. Do an AGM for each of the 31 teams in 31 days. This forces me to learn more about each team and how the lineups should/could look. To other users please feel free to participate, I'm looking for a challenge to keep me entertained.

Rules: 31 AGM's over 31 days, one for each team. Flat cap at 81.5. One CBO per team.

Please provide any feedback, I'm trying to learn more about each team here.

Dallas' greatest strength: great mix of experienced vets and talented youth
Dallas' greatest weakness: goal scoring

If there is a CBO, this would make the most sense although it is very controverisal. If there isn't a CBO, then Stars should consider trading him

I wouldn't sign dadanov. You signed so many players for 2 years+ and now you may not be able to sign heiskanen.

Maybe, but lets assume cap goes up to 86 mil which it was supposed to this year. With the contracts that expire next year they gain 10 mil of cap, plus the 5.5 of cap increase is 15.5 mil of cap to sign Heiskanen, Dickinson, Johns, and Oleksiak. That's plenty. Heis will get 6-8 mil leaving lots for others

I think the big problem with Dallas is not necessarily the offense but the coaching staff. 2 or 3 seasons ago Dallas was one of the most dominant teams offensively the problem was on defense. Hitchcock and Montgomery were a defense first mentality. Now they got one of the best defense but one of the worst offense while the key elements (Seguin, Benn, Radulov) are still there. I think they should hire a coach more based on offense while not sacrifing to much defense. I think a good coach for them would be Laviolette.

THis is a great take. Monty actually had an offensive pedigree but adopted more of a defensive style because the personel could not tighten up. Bowness needs to remain on staff to run the defensive scheme and incorporate into an offensive minded head coaches plan.
