I'd consider accepting that if I'm CHI.

Good thing I left almost a million for wiggle room assuming all bonuses are met.

I thought it seemed relatively fair considering Jets’ pick will be around 12OA. Could solve our 2C issue for many years, and that pick won’t do our main roster any good for at least 2 more years. Also clears out cash for Chicago; Roslovic probably signs in the 2’s?

Get real Krug might sign that for Boston, But noway in hell he signs that for Winnipeg, Any team not named the Bruins you're probably looking at 6 years $48 million minimum to sign Torey Krug.

If Winnipeg makes the playoffs, I don't hate that trade for either team. I don't know if Strome is worth a top 15 pick and a promising middle six forward. That said, he'll have good players to play with in Winnipeg (the knock on him is that he's only productive because he plays with good players, which I don't totally think is true but that's another argument), so if that's something you're considering when trading for him I wouldn't worry about it.

Sounds about right. The only thing that would make me pause with the whole trade is the in-division factor; it would depend on if CHI envisions themselves bluntly rebuilding, which Bowman seems non-committal as of right now.

Roslovic's "promising" days are coming to a end; he isn't going to get much better then what he's shown which is a bottom 6 player.

Even if his ceiling at this point is just anchoring a third line, I’d still consider that promising. Hawks need as many of those guys as they can get too and I think I’d take Roslovic long term over Shaw, Smith, Kampf or even Highmore.
