What matters is if in reality San Jose would be interested and if they can make it work cap wise. If that's the case then offer away but just so you know the very least it would take would be a First round pick, a conditional round pick which can become a first, and a top prospect. I can take a little bit of cap as well if need be.

I think as others said above that's not enough for Boeser, scoring wingers of his talent are worth a lot.

Yeah no arguing with that. What would be a fair package for Boeser in your opinion? I was looking for a First, a conditional 2nd, and a top prospect or young roster player but what do you think he should fetch?

Your not even getting a top prospect here though? Jost sucks and will never be a top six guy

Well if ur talking from Colorado going to VAN rn I don't think Colorado has the players to fullful the want from VAN.

Like say I offered from Buffalo I'd give you Ryan Johnson, 2021 first and a conditional second in 2021 depending on if we make the conference final or if Boeser scores 50 goals

True that. Would the sharks be able to make a deal for Boeser work cap wise though?

Colorado easily accepts this trade.

We need a top 6 scoring forward and Boeser fits the bill perfectly. Jost and Zadorov are decent players but they are certainly available in a trade package to get a top 6 forward. Avs need to move a LHD once Byram makes the team, so Zadorov is the most available player on the roster. As for the picks I would be happy to include them if it got us a top 6 forward with the upside Boeser has.

Regarding Motte and 6th, not sure what purpose there is in including them... I don't think they're needed in the trade, unless there's cap or roster space reasons why Vancouver wants to include a minor player/salary.

Overall I'm not sure why Vancouver would be offering this trade though. It doesn't seem like a very good trade from Vancouver's perspective; in fact it seems downright terrible. Unless there's something about Boeser that I've missed... Is there any reason why Vancouver would want to trade their best young winger?

Whatever the case I think the minimum that Vancouver would ask for if they were to trade Boeser would be a young RHD, as that's clearly one of their biggest needs. A good goalie or goalie prospect would probably be a secondary ask as well. As such if you're trading with Colorado it's likely that the ask would start with Timmins, 2020 1st, and Werner/Annunen/Francouz (although Francouz just signed a new 2 year contract so it seems unlikely that he's going anywhere). I'd also expect serious requests for Newhook to be included but Sakic isn't going to budge on that one.

Vancouver's biggest need is a young NHL-ready top 4 RHD prospect, and Avs just happen to have precisely that in Timmins.

Timmins + 1st as a base would probably get the ball rolling.

I think so, we should have like 7 mil in open cap space as long as we dont spend too much on FA's or other trades

Yes I think Sakic makes that deal.

Connor Timmins would be hard to give up as he has legit top pair potential and moving him weakens our RHD depth considerably. That said, including Jett Woo makes that workable.

I think this trade is one that would only happen closer to next summer or deadline, as Boeser still has 2 years left on his contract, and Timmins is as yet unproven in the NHL. If Timmins starts playing well in the NHL then I'm sure he'll establish some solid trade value to make trades like this possible if Colorado wants to make it. But for now the timing probably isn't right, and I don't see why Vancouver would want to trade for futures when they are wanting to contend in what is a weak division.
