If it’s strictly for the players Columbus wins by a mile as Marner is better than anyone Toronto is getting if you include contracts, Toronto wins walking away. Atkinson is a former 40 goal scorer and putting him with Matthew or Tavares will get him there again and he can’t replace some of what’s lost from Marner, Anderson for Johansson is what it is as they fill the same role. Savard is a great fit in Toronto if he signs an extension as he’s the rock they need to play with Rielly.

The biggest problem is Marner’s contract. Not many teams can afford to take his full contract long term. Columbus is one of those teams.

Also the trade value really isn’t fair anyways so...
