Description

-Rinne isn't a starter anymore, give 45 starts to Saros and the rest to Rinne
-might be a weird thing to hear, but I think they need a Rd-man. I'd personally try to get Travis Hamonic to a 4 year deal worth 4,5 mil per
-let's assume there's a CBO and if there is one, use it on Turris. I still think he can be a 20 goal scorer but 6 mil is way too much for what he brings to the game
-resign Mikael Granlund and Craig Smith. It is the right thing to do, because I think both can really contribute to the team. BUT, give him a choice: either you sign for one year, 4,5 mil to prove yourself, or you sign for 4 years at 4 mil per because there is no guarante you get back to where you were before.
-extend Saros to a 2 year deal worth 3,5 mil per

Well that's the whole point. Even if I really like Saros, I don't think he is ready to carry this team to a cup (Rinne isn't capable anymore so...), so he needs a very strong d-core so that he doesn't face too many dangerous shots

1) Picking up a RHD with term only further complicates the expansion draft and eats up salary that needs to be used to upgrade the wings
2) Hamhuis is done and we're better off letting a yon player start working their way in
3) Buying out Turris to extend Smith for 4 years sounds like a huge recipe for regret
