Description

If the player got <1 mil then I just deleted the signing to reduce clutter

With some players I'd be willing to pay more in a vacuum, but there would likely just be better options that I could get for cheaper, and others just don't bring enough outside one area of the game to justify (to me) getting more $

Pay attention to the term as well, some guys I went a bit higher $ to avoid giving them the extra year, and others I'd be willing to give more $ but for shorter term

I agree with everything except I personally wouldn't want to give Hall more than 9 on a long term deal but I know he will get 10+ on the open market

Edit: and I would give Krug up to 7 million

Its been made clear that Krug could get 7.5 to 8.5 on the open market.
But he would take a discount to stay in Boston, looking at 6.5-7 (i have been saying 6.75 for 5 or 6 years)

BUT: to say 5 mil for krug just means you are wrong.

Chara is going to stay in boston for 1 - 1.5

Halak is going for a 1-2 year 3.5 - 4.5 million dollar deal

And you dont even have Kevan Miller who will likely get 1 mil

So Krug who's basically a 50 point LHD is only worth $5m per, Yeah don't think so Holtby for 4 x 4 Hoffman 3 x 4 Trying to piss a lot of these guys off?

Points for d men 😴😴 if Krug was better off the PP than he is I'd give him more, Hoffman is even more useless 5v5, and Holtby has been steadily declining since the cup, I'd give him more money but shorter term

Not trying to be the agent, I'm looking at it from a team who'd be looking to sign them and say what is the most I'd be willing to pay player x taking his entire game into account, sure I could cherrypick and spin certain stats to make it look like a player is better than he is, but that wasn't what I was going for

... I don't care what he is gonna get, or what people think he's gonna get, I wouldn't give him more than maybe 5.5-6 for a shorter term... He's not THAT good offensively off the PP and he's not good defensively. Now he's truly elite as a PPQB, that's why he's getting a mil more than Hoffman (who he's also far better than at 5v5... Maybe I should tweak those a bit)

The ones that jump out at me are Johan Larsson, Evgeni Dadanov, Tyler Toffoli, Robin Lehner, and Dylan De Melo. I think you're high a million or more on all 5. Let's put this one on the fridge and come look at it in September!

Most of these seem pretty good tbh. Although I feel Shattenkirk and Ennis are too low, while Gudas and Hamonic are too high. Also, signing any long term G is pretty risky tbh, although Lehner is good. I like how you rated Hoffman well, dude is overrated.
