Toews definitely in favor of Marchand lol. Sure, I think everybody would rather have the current Marchand on the team instead of current Toews. But if you look at the entire career, it's Toews (and not even close).

Stone doesn't really have an edge over Seguin or Hall so I'd say top 3 or top 5 pick. And Stamkos would remain 1st 95 out of 100 times at the Josi draft

Some weirdo named Erik Karlsson might also have claim to it. At the very least more than Josi does.

Also Hellebyuk isnt going 1 OA ahead of Slavin/Forsberg/Vasilevskiy

Not sure you realize how good Forsberg is, he's a top 10 LW in the league. As for Vasy vs Helly, 1 won the vezina last year while the other had zero votes for it. Helly likely wins it this year but Vasy was certainly in the running after his 22 game point streak streak.

josi is better than ek 65 and stamkos right now...this is drafting the best player atm in each class

like the description says, its drafing the best player RIGHT NOW from each draft class. Marchand is better than Toews atm not taking into account their entire career here

I'd argue that toews would still be #1 right now. I love marchand (weird coming from someone who's not a boston fan) he's a high scoring winger on arguably the best line in the league. Toews is one of the most well rounded players in the game. It'd be a tough decision at least.

stamkos is overrated, over the course of their careers, stamkos is probably better, but as of today, josi easily.

Forsberg never really took that next step IMO, sure hes really good as is, but hes not better than helle
