What's with the sudden obsession with Sorensen to the Leafs? I've seen that so much recently.

just wanted a cheap winger to replace Johnsson. He's a solid, bottom-six guy that doesn't make much. For anyone who wants to cut cap but get a solid player, he's good option.

We have plenty of wingers already though. I get that in your scenario there are a lot of moving pieces so it's different, but I've just seen a trade like this so many times and in most of them it doesn't make sense. I'd rather not take back salary for Johnsson if it can be avoided.

It's a good trade with Florida, but I think that they would prefer their young cost controlled players. This is if they are still trying to cut $10m.

he is cheap and could sign a cheap extension I guess. At least the cap hit would be better than johnssons
