I am guessing you are referring to Werenski and McAvoy? They were the last two I removed from D. McAvoy has had a bad year. Could make argument they replace McDonagh but thats it.

McAvoy had a better year than Suter, and Wereknski is better than McDonagh...

That is spot on

Pretty incredible timing, I just read an article (justified on advanced statistics) that McAvoy would be the Norris winner.

No, he likely won't I know that. But saying he's had a bad year is just being ignorant. Hope for you that you're not saying this because he didn't score until Feb because you will lose all your credibility...

McDonagh had an EVEN MORE bad year. Nowhere close to his past 6 seasons. McAvoy was really good defensively this year and just keeps getting better. Didn't produce offensively for a while but kept doing those little things that eventually lead to a goal even though he doesn't get a point on that sequence. Somehow, he still has 32 pts in 67 GP. We won't talk about McDonagh's offensive production because that's not part of his game.

McAvoy is miles ahead of McDonagh and #73 will just keep getting better while #27 will decline. Don't make that same mistake twice bud.

Number one d man for the team with the best record in the NHL had a bad year? Maybe in terms of points? Not in terms of playing hockey.

Oh yeah, and im promise my goal isnt to be a homer here and call him a Norris winner, but he is damn better than a couple of those dmen. So thats just a fact
