Ok first question, Why is Marchenko signed for 3 years 2,225m a year. Second question, Girgonsons sucks why sign him. Third question, why get rid of Alzner and then sign Edmundson to a bad contract, he sucks

Marchenko is paid to be Romanov's nanny and the Girg is sign for his PK role and speed that fit Wood to have a specialist 4th line that can score and cover Kovy if needed. Alternate is Wood Girg LeHkonen to kill last minutes of game they are pretty good and they do not need to play more than 13 be cause this team is going to play in o-zone. Edmondsun is this years Chiarot Habs need Shut down..

I don't know what more laugh your playstation burning up, Or your joke of trades especially the garbage for Mantha Mete and Byron are a joke the only decent piece is your #8 pick and Yzerman will want more to move him to a divisional foe.

Get over yourself! Mantha alone isn’t worth the 8th overall pick. Stop acting like Mantha is a super star, Mantha doesn’t even rank near the top. In the past 3 season he is ranked 28th among right winger. That good but that not great at all. Zucker with 3 year on is deal as landed a roster players, a good prospect and a late first round. Mantha is worth something in that range maybe a little more since he is younger but based on is historical performance that what you will received for him.

Don't have to get over myself, Because your trash offer minus the #8 pick isn't getting you Mantha. He's not available and certainly wont be playing in Montreal anytime soon. Yzerman will see to that.

That doesn’t mean that your crazy evaluation make sense. Mantha isn’t a super star and is value is not as high as you think. Evander Kane was traded for a 1st round pick a 4th and Daniel O’Reagan, the Red Wings would received something in that range. If Yzerman would received a call from Bergevin and was receiving the 8th overall , a second round pick and Mete he would immediately step on that because he isn’t a moron. He know that Mantha doesn’t have this kind of value at all.

While I agree Mantha is not a superstar and may never be one, he has value to his team. They see him as a building block not as an asset to trade for futures. Wings are in the midst of a rebuild, no doubt and they probably and hopefully have been at the bottom and they can revive their playoff aspirations going forward.

Mete and Byron alone are not getting Mantha, and the pick is probably to high, that is why this trade without or with the pick makes zero sense for both teams in either scenario.

Wings are in a tough position, if they trade Mantha for futures, it delays the rebuild, that is why I hate seeing trades for Larkin, Hronek, Bertuzzi or Mantha. If you start trading young promising players for future picks, older players(Palmieri) or a combination of both it starts a cycle of whereas you are in a never ending rebuild. GM Yzerman understands and probably has drawn a line in the sand and moving forward, certain players are untouchable or at least it would take a big offer to trade one of the afore mentioned players for picks and/or top prospects. I have read on this site where trade Larkin for future picks to help in the rebuild. Sure and two problems, one the players we draft may never turn out to be as good and it sets the rebuild back as those players if they turn out to be good could take 3 to 5 years to make it to the NHL.

Again I am not saying any of the players I sited are superstars, good sure, high ceilings yes, yet to make that jump to top players, yes. If there was a players to trade out of the group, Mantha is the likely one to go, but his value is hard to set as the value to one team and the value to Wings are so different.

Thing is with Mantha and Dubois, its there teams best forwards so its gonna take alot to aquire them. Same thing happened with Aho, that was their best player so they easily match.

I agree that this is not what Detroit is looking for in a trade, they are looking to rebuild this team so bringing a guy like Byron doesn’t help them at all. But the main point was just that your friend must calm down with Mantha. I proposed Domi, Poehling and Cam Hillis on a trade last day and he just turn crazy. The fact was Domi have the exact same Ppg average then Mantha 0.69 but he achieved that with 120 +games so he got more experience. Both are different players but are pretty much equal in value and with the add of Poehling and Hillis was a more then fair for Mantha.
