That he is. But with no offense I have a hard time seeing a path to the NHL.

Yeah, guys like Carlo have jobs. But you have to be really, really good at it if you bring zero offense. Niemelainen will be in the AHL next year which is a small step towards the NHL. And that's a good thing, but remember he's already 22 and doesn't have a lot of development time left. This coming season will be a huge indicator for Niemelainen's future.
