Since the Sens acquired Vitaly Abramov, it's been a complete about face. Before that, the last Russians in Ottawa were Filip Kuba and Nikita Filatov in 11/12. Now we have Abramov, Anisimov, Zaitsev, Zub. It's so strange.
As far as Free agent signings, Sens haven't landed a Russian since Sergei Gonchar. Or Maybe Alex Kovalev? It's been a while.
