Probably an unpopular opinion, but I don’t think Klinger is as good as he was. I give it 20 games into the season after that trade before Toronto is thinking jeez we got Barrie 2.0. And he only has two years left on his deal

I dont think he fits the Leafs needs kind of like Barrie . At that price i dont think the Leafs could say no though even if just to flip him for a more defensive option.
