Dubas is a forward thinking gm and sure he brought ceci in but he got rid of zaitsev so that was fine. If barrie produced like he did in colorado and if Kerfoot could have scored 7 more goals it would have been fine as Kadri lost his temper to many times and got himself suspended twice in game 2. Plus if he stayed our dcore would have been worse than it was with barrie in it. I have a feeling he is gonna make some similar moves in the offseason that will make the fans wonder how the hell did he get those deals done so well.

At 700k he is easily replaced.... Looking at PK for him with this lineup.... Or hainsey but he wont sign for 700k

here is how I view ceci, he is bad, I dont want him on this team even on 700k. I would even rather have Liligren who has not looked amazing so far playing instead of him. Hainsey could be ok as a mentor to sandin but thats about it.

Ceci has always been on the top line D in OTT and TOR... Damn he isnt even in this line up.... He is insurance and can play 10mins and 2PK mins as a third line D. I know he is not good but if his role is changed and playing against lesser opponent with sheltered mins as a 6/7 dman he may be ok?

As a SENS fan I am truly anxious to see where Ceci lands. He's not good, but there's at least one GM out there who'll be dumb enough to give him $3 - 3.5M and play him on the 2nd pairing until the fans torch the building.

Your probably right.... But we are arguing over a 6/7 Dman here! Leafs have to stick with what they have for now so they can sign players for next year. Major changes to D make no sense right now.

Kinda of a silly premise that Honda is top a6 NHL Dman and the can be traded for an AHLer. I don't mind Ceci as much as many of unfair critics, but for Ceci's sanity he should play elsewhere.

Problem with players like Honka and Bracco (and Timoshov and JP and others) is that they will never play for the teams that drafted them so may as well move them.

That wasn't the issue. Bracco isn't an NHLer so why is even traded at all? Honda, he's probably never an NHLer...so what's he doing in the Leaf lineup? If, if, Honda is an NHLer, his return is more than minor leaguer Bracco.
