I'm sorry, I made this at 2 am while procrastinating on finals.

Torn on the sharks trade I like Howden and Rykov I’m anti Georgiev as I see him as another jones! I.E. gives you two good seasons gets your hopes up and falls flat

Plus we can give that same package for Cirelli and he fits a true now need!

You say Buffalo needs to get better right away but then trade them a package that makes them worst for an asset that will actually make them better.

Rangers turn down the San Jose deal which kinda tanks the whole thing.

Paying too much to get rid of Smith after watching Scandella get a 2nd rounder unretained lol.

Also no need to move up that far in the draft. You're getting about the same quality draft pick at 8 as you are at say 14 in this draft as long as someone like Raymond or Rossi doesn't fall. And then you probably trading up specifically for them.

The Anthony Cirelli deal is meh, Julien BriseBois would easily turn that down and block Gortons number.

How does the 9th overall pick make them any better right now? They got Cozens 7th overall last year and was still playing in the WHL when the season stopped. Casey Mittelstadt was taken 8th overall 3 yrs ago and he's still not a regular in the league. Excluding top 3 picks, prospects usually take a while to develop.
