i wouldn't do it as calgary either. tkachuk is the best player in that deal by far.

Juulsen + KK + MTLs 1st certainly does not = Tkachuk + CGYs 1st

I don’t think value is that much off on the Flames trade. It all depends on how you view KK’s potential, but the incertainty factor behind it makes it a bad trade for Calgary.
