I think that with the Lehtonen signing Dermott is being traded, and its probably going to be for a right shot defenseman. Johnsson may be on the move as well, for again a right shot defenseman.

the other thing i can see happening is also trading Dermott and Kerfoot for picks and signing a guy like Tanev in free agency

Not a chance lol. Dermott and Johnsson arent worth more than a 2nd each. They might even only fetch a 3rd. Theyd have to package Dermott + Kapanen + 2021 1st to get a 2nd pairing Dman

Right Side D is still not close to good enough. Something needs to change there.

Engvall is a 4th liner at best and Malgin is an AHL'er.

Soft, soft, soft. This team is going nowhere with this lineup.
