I wouldn't sign Vatanen. Weber, Petry, Fleury are good option on the rhd plus Juulsen (seems to be healthy) and Brook are likely the future at that position.
I wouldn't sign Hoffman too since Kovalchuk might take that place next season and Caufield might take it the season after.

Byron is way more useful to MTLthan habs fans tend to realize. Just this year, we were 0,586 when he was in the line-up and 0,440 when he wasn't. It might seems like he earns too much for a bottom six player, but I maintain that he is still worth those bucks. He is our go to guy, he can be put in any situation. So I would certainly not trade him for Dal Colle, personally.
