Those LA and Edmonton trades are a no from MTL. They give up the better pieces in both deals.

-Domi's got more goals/points in his time in Montreal than Kempe since he came into the league, his 2 years of cost control are nice but doesn't balance out the on-ice performance difference between these two.
-Kupari hasn't been as dominant as expected in the AHL (Don't know if it's related to the way he was used there?) so I'd keep the record breaking resume of Caufield instead.
-Clague does project to be a better defenseman than Mete in the upcoming years but he's able to play with Weber as a first pairing -advance stats back this up- so I don't see the appeal of this swap.

Don't know why I'd do it.

Yeah i'm pushing bakc here but i'm building something that I will do in few hours. I've set in my mind to see how 2022 is our year and why it's easy to think we can go on a better side note!
