Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Simply trying to fit Tampa under the cap. Not quite sure on the trades I have proposed but hope the value is close. Detroit trade may be the hardest to pull off but Gourde waives to get a chance to play top 6 minutes with his old buddy Stevey Y running the show.

Why would the Sharks trade for Killorn? They aren’t in a position to win anytime soon.

Definitely wouldn't classify Chmelevski as your BEST forward prospect but alright lol. Feel free to exchange for someone you perceive as a lower leveled one.

They will definitely bounce back next season. This year was a one-off in my opinion...the amount of injuries they had was crazy. Add a couple good pieces and they are right back in the mix.

I don’t think so. Their team is aging and bad. Karlsson & Burns aren’t good anymore, and their goaltending is horrible. And they have little to no prospects coming up soon. They’re not going to win a Stanley Cup, so by trying to win now, all they’d be doing is prolonging their suffering, and making the inevitable rebuild longer than it needs to be.

Dahlen, True, Gregor, Blichfeld to name a few! Don't get me wrong, Chmelevski is a great prospect I just think there are a lot of comparable guys as well so feel free to exchange for one with a similar type value.

Fair enough. I think Karlsson still has a lot left in the tank but there are definitely things that need to be addressed. Goaltending absolutely. But if they make a few moves upfront and sign a reliable goalie I think they could still be in the mix. Definitely not the favorites but better than most would expect. Just my opinion though.

Doubt it. Sure they'll probably be better next year, but they lack a good goalie, their core is old and will be trending in the wrong direction. They have some really bad contracts which they can't move unless they add something interesting. They have no cap space while they need to add a good goalie and some depth players to have a good chance at making the playoffs. They don't have the prospectpool to fill the holes on the team for cheap.

Vegas, Oilers, Vancouver and even Arizona aren't really worse than Sj while the Central is a better division which doesn't benefit them in terms of a wildcardspot. Unless they sign Lehner or a goalie like that, I doubt they'll make the playoffs again. SJ will start the rebuild soon

If Detroit wants Gourde his ntc isn't a problem. TB just places him on waivers and Det claims him. The Bowey part can be a separate transaction...

most likely they do, yzerman know how good Gourde is and would claims his waivers and put him in a top 6 role
