Curious what peoples thoughts are as to where Taylor Hall ends up this offseason. Haven't seen a lot of discussion on this recently. It looked like the salary cap was going to get a decent jump in the offseason pre-COVID. Now it looks like we won't get a full season this year or next year. Also probably will have a flat cap situation. What does Hall do? Does he take a 1 year deal some where to chase a cup and try again the next year for a long deal or just take the best deal he can get with a good team? And where would that be?
the other players randomly thrown in for the team to work per capfriendly rules...
Maybe stays in Arizona but something tells me Colorado.. given how badly he wants to win he might sign there a bit cheaper and Colorado is looking for a top 6 left wing.. there were rumors bout trying to get conner earlier in the season
I think those 4 teams seem about right. maybe Florida if they have the cap space. I'd be shocked if its not a one year deal for next year...just bad timing. Since the cap probably won't jump, most teams just won't have to room to do much this offseason unless the NHL does allow some free cap dumps.
