Cost a bit more than RNH in my opinion. Jets would need a LHD back. The trade would likely need to escalate to something like Trouba and Stafford for RNH and Sekera or Klefbom. I doubt the Jets would want to wait on Nurse or Reinhart to find/develop their game. Even then, a trade like that would leave the Jets with one too many centres and the Oils with one too few top 4 LHD. Essentially reversing their current predicaments.

A trade between Minnesota and Edmonton just makes too much sense. Staal isn't the long-term solution up the middle for the Wild.

Trouba and Stafford for RNH and Sekera is a good trade scenario

Not sure about Stafford though. He has only one year left. I think Trouba and Perreault would be a more realistic deal. That total cap hit has to be somewhat close and for closer to amount of years total. If Stafford had atleast 3 years left then yeah it would work better.

Problem is what true north mentioned above. The Jets aren't really looking for a centre. They just want the LH dman more than anything. Minnesota is a better option but they're offer would have to be a bit better than just Dumba/Spurgeon/Brodin. But then again trading in the division? Not sure about that. They'd rather send him to the east i would think.
