it was a while ago, but I don't know many people who say that now. I mean obviously his numbers are inflated a tad due to playing with those players, but so are the numbers of all complimentary stars that need to play with the best players. Not a diss against guentzel either- Nylander is a complementary star as well, in that he's do fine on his own, but to play at a stars level he needs to play with stars

What is this in response to? Not giving up Marner for C level prospects and a late 1st or 2 seconds? Not giving Kapanen for a bottom pairing D and a 4th?

dude nope. Marner has better production playing with worse players for most, if not all of his career. Also a strong penalty killer

Guentzel is not as good defensively as Marner but he is better at driving the play. He generates more shots & offensive zone possession. Plus he scores way more goals & was scoring at a 90 point pace too!

Marner is WAY better than Guenzel imo

Although @MitchMarnerElite is his username, he recognizes, as do I, that Guentzel is the more valuable winger.
I take Guentzel 100/100.
Especially considering I can have 2 Guentzel for 1 Marner and an ELC.

I know that someone was talking about this is posts before this one but when you play alongside Crosby you're going to get more points/goals than you would normally. At least thats just my opinion, but I can't argue that Guentzel isn't good because he is.

But Jake has what it takes to score 40 goals every season. You can’t say the same about Crosby’s other wingers.
