It's the biggest debate on this site, in a sabres fan and I say Eichel. But that's probably biased

We need some opinions from other fans teams.
Leaf fans and Sabre fans don't matter as much

Up until this season, Matthews career worst in goals was higher than eichels career best. Even as Eichel broke 30 for the first time, Matthews was on track for 50+ this year. Matthews has scored at a 1 point per game pace 3 out of 4 seasons, Eichel has done it 2 out of 5. Matthews has made the playoffs each season in the NHL, Eichel hasn’t done it once.

Matthews with the clear edge imo. I think Eichel is and will be a great player and no question elite But Matthews is a true gamebreaker that can take over a game on his own.
