That's a fair contract for Barrie - but I think he'll get that offer from Van as well so......................Van or the Peg..................where to live

I understand the logic behind the trade and signing but I personally think that barrie is very overrated and is not the type of defenceman that Winnipeg needs. They already have Pionk and Morrissey to run the power play. They need a defensive defenceman. And for the RNH trade i like the fit but i dont like giving up Laine. Laine improved so much this year. Id prefer to draft a centre like Anton Lundell who could very well fall to pick number 12. And for defence i would either sign a guy in free agency or wait for our defence to develop. Samberg, Stanley, Heinola, Chisholm, Green, Kovacevic, Valatti, Lundmark,Gawanke,. Jts will have too many good defencemen soon

Ya, I see what you mean man.Lianes value is low now so It might be good to keep him. Barrie is also maybe a guy winny might not want, I just had them getting one of the best dman on the market. Nice logo, by the way(sask is the best province!!!)

Lol good chance Winnipeg can get him for free in FA after the Oilers come back to earth which is inevitable

DeMelo fits the Jets better than Barrie would.

Also that trade is terrible for the Jets, why would they trade Laine for 1 year of Nugent-Hopkins?

Wouldn't trade either Laine or Ehlers for RNH, even if RNH would sign with the Jets I wouldn't bother, just wait till he hits ufa and sign him them, it's the same thing many were saying about Trouba, why waste assets to acquire a guy when he's only one season from UFA and you can sign him then without giving up prime assets.
