If there is a CBO in later years, it is used on Bob's buyout penalty.

I don't know why we would dump Kulak. He proved he can play beside Petry if injuries happen. At the worst, he can be the #7 defender.

I highly doubt the Islanders would give up Wahlstrom, but sign me up for that.

Bob wouldn't be a cap dump, there would be a team in the league that would be interested in giving up assets for him.

Nope. He had a down year. Montreal wouldn't be willing to take on the 5 Million dollar buyout for 10+ years to only get a 1st+2nd+3rd.

At worst, Florida retains 50% and get a lot of prospects and picks. Bob is still a Elite level goaltender.

I don't think NYI would need to give up that much to get rid of Boychuk's contract. Bellows and a first seems more realistic
