Florida is also losing Hoffman+Daddy likely and Bob is going to get trade and CBO'd. They need more quality players to fill the roster. And they are both young with room to grow, especially Dermott.

Florida's only hope is a cbo cause nobody is taking that bobrosky contract without some serious retention by florida.

stop it with the CBO, you guys are annoying with that. We dont know if there's gonna be one so it's kind of useless saying there will be one

Bobrovksy is one season removed from a 37 win, 9 shutout season. Not sure why everyone is ready to throw in the towel on him after 3/4 of a subpar year.

This trade was a little more evenly matched last season.

But Weegar has pulled well ahead of Dermott at this point by more than a 3rd.

If the handedness made sense for Toronto, I'd say replacing Weegar with Stillman would be a more even trade value wise.

Ya ik. Just making a point that if Florida really wants to cut 10m they are going to need some quality players to replace all the UFA's they will lose.

Weegar and Wallmark cost 3 mil total in this ACGM. That's less than Kerfoot and this has Weegar as a 1st pair dman...

weegar wont be making 2 mill he will probs be making 3.5-4mill. Whoever thought weegar would make 2 mill needs to understand defensive statistics and the fact is weegar next to ekblad has been the panthers most reliable defenseman and thats kind of sad as they signed a whole bunch of guys to almost unmovable contracts
