    For the Penguins, you'd be dumb not to. It's highway robbery.

    In what world? Middlestat is already being labeled as a bust by many, Miller has been a healthy scratch.

    Bud your Buffalo Trade is sooooo faaaarrrrr off it's crazy. You are COMPLETELY undervaluing the Players on the Penguins. Jarry just made the All Star team bud and the Sabres you are talking about don't even play. Try again.

    I mean what is the value of Mittelstadt. They sent him to the AHL this year. Honestly, I don't know what to make of him. Did they just screw up his development, or is he a bust?
    Miller is ok, but the penguins don't have the luxury of paying another defenseman almost 4 million per. They have to pay marino next year and that's got to be hanging over the whol convo on bringing in expensive defensemen especially guys who will be 3rd pairing. It's not worth the trouble and next year we'd be looking to dump him most likely.
    So what I see is a 2nd. I don't do this if I'm the penguins.

    What can the Penguins get back then? Do you think Buffalo would give up their 1st? Miller would probably get taken by Seattle is how I saw it. Do they deal him to another team?

    Miller and Mittlestadt have underperformed of late--but who not named Jack Eichel hasn't on buffalo.
    Their value is depressed for sure.
    Bjugstad=Miller
    2nd or 3rd round pick=Mittelstadt
    keep Jarry and Simon.

    The whole point is to move out a goalie, since that is what has been rumoured. I want to find a team where the Pens can get a solid return back.

    The Penguins can get a Kings ransom for Tristan Jarry right now. There are teams that need a #1 goalie and he fits ALL the checkboxes. BUT!!! We are NOT trading away Jarry bud. We will trade away Murray IF we trade any goalie.
