Description
His challenge was five 10 million + contracts. No more than 5 ELCs. 23 man roster. Eichel the only player playing out of position. All other players are playing their first or secondary position according to CF. Chara for a bit of veteran leadership that’s very absent from this team.

Zdeno chara. Heard of him? You have a point though. I could swap out Deangelo for a more defensive d man.

Ever heard of that weird thing where Chara is 40 and can't play 24+ minutes and all the PK time.

He’s 5th in the NHL in short handed TOI. Pretty sure he can handle a huge portion of the penalty kill. You said they had no players for PK.

I meant other than Chara. It's not good to run a 1D PK. Power plays are normally for that....if say put Graves in over Teows.

Thats fine. I said that you had a good point that i could sub in a more defensive d for Deangelo. Mcavoy is a pretty good penalty killer though. You’ve got at least 4 solid PK forwards. Not the deepest PK group for sure.

I'm not a Bruins fan, but I think McAvoy is a top 3 young D talent in the NHL. if I was going to start a franchise I'd take him after only Makar and Dahlin. For his talent but also for his experience, kid has already been got he cup final. I guess their is arguments you could take Hughes, Provorov, Werenski, or Heiskanen first but I'd take McAvoy
