The best Canucks team of all time was the the 1994 Canucks with Bure and Linden.

The 2011 team only put up good stats because the NHL changed the rules so that hockey became like flag football with no contact. Then for some reason the NHL instruced its referees to let everything go in the final between the Canucks and Bruins and the Bruins just beat up the Canucks which was a total joke and just proved again that some of the real powerful owners in the NHL actually run the league.

The best team won in-spite of the biting (period)...

The canook army voted the 2011 dumb dumbs - I think they all suck, but what do I know...

You sound jealous of the Leafs and what they are about to achieve in the NHL and return Toronto to the centre of the NHL universe.

hmmm - the MLSE owners of the TML have more money$$ and clout than gawd - why can't they win a freakin' round; at least?

Amazing Goalie_whaaa?
.909 Sv% (31st)
.285 GAA (34th)
US$5M-per and UFA in just about 365 days; they'd better win real soon...

Guy pulls up Andersen’s poor stats this year and thinks he knows everything about the guy, try watching every game he has played in a maple leafs uniform like I have and then come back with a real opinion, thanks

All your points are 100% valid as Anderson had off year and was hurt and also some key injuries to both Rielly and Muzzen did not also help him.

I agree with your point of Anderson becomming a UFA at end of next year and think Leafs are already working on that problem and would not be surprised if they sign a Russian KHL goalie to buy time while the Leafs develope their own prospects. The other thing is that their are a number of people in the hockey world who believe Campbell can be a No.1 goalie in the NHL as he was actually drafted in the first round on the NHL draft and then played behind Quick for a couple of years.

I think maybe bilyalov comes over at some point (just cause all the rumours this year) but I don’t think he takes the cage from Freddy Unless it’s 3-4 years down the line , freddys stats took a hit this year but I’m certain he rebounds but hopefully extends at a moderate price due to a tough year, if he wants the world tho I think he is worth it in the short term atleast

They will go 82-0 and Matthews will score 100 goals, Marner will have 88 goals and Tavares will have 347 assists. Jason Spezza will have a comeback season and notch 348 points on the fourth line, Rielly will have 47 goals and 116 assists and Andersen will carry a .28GAA and .994 save percentage while notching 12 goals of his own.

And then Toronto will get swept in the first round by the Bruins.

This might be the funniest thing I’ve seen all 2020

Man those are great points and I'm sure it's likely more development is coming down the pipeline for TML and all the rest too.
BUT...
Ur buddy Austin is gonna be gone in 4 seasons or less now. And Dubas is the quintessential Rubber Ducky - calm on the surface but his little legs are churning mega underwater just trying to stay afloat and keep the rioters out of Raptors square!!!!

I kind of have the same thoughts as you with respect with AM but I actually think he might stay in Toronto to continnue playing with Marner. Although, I like watch Matthews play it is Marner who in my opinion is the better hockey player as he can play 5x5, PP and PK and has so many dimensions as a hockey player. You are right about Dubas but you need to cut him a little slack as he is starting to figure out being a GM and is going to fine in the long-run.

That series was an absolute embarrashment for NHL hockey when you have Marchand punching Daniel Sedin in the face multiple times after a whistle and the ref call knows no penality and no Canuck player comes in to help Sedin. Jeremy Jacobs the owner of the Bruins made it clear to Colin Campbell and the NHL discipline committee that he wanted the refs to put their whistles in their pockets and that is what happened and was just a total embarrassment to watch as a hockey fan.

You do realize that Jeremy Jacobs the owner of the Bruins runs the NHL and Garry Bettman anwsers to him.

The worst thing about the referees being told to call nothing which allowed the Bruins to play like the Johnstone Chiefs in Slapshot, was that Colin Campbell, the head of the NHL Disipline committee had his son playing on the Bruins which was a total joke. This is reality and not a conspiracy theory as you are implying as Jeremy Jacobs, the powerful owner of the Bruins and the other U.S. based owners wanted the Bruins to win to improve their NHL U.S. television network contract. This was the most embarassing NHL playoff series refereeing that I have ever watched in my life.

1st league average has fluctuated between .910 and .915 during Andersen’s career, not gonna do the exact math but it’s probably about .9125 over his time so he is above league average not “average at best” and second..... WATCH HIM PLAY... it’s simple as that, a hockey db page isn’t all you you need to know about a player to evaluate them
