Now I know UFAs can sign wherever they want. You just traded to two NHLer at 5.5m to the Jets. You think Galchenyuk and DeMelo at 4.1. are comparable replacement for the Leafs. If so, why don't the Jets just sign Galchenyuk for 1.5m and De Melo for 3.5....that's 5m and keep their picks.
