You forgot about the bottom 9 and defense

Sabres had one of the best 4th lines this year With Larsson and Okposo. The third line looks solid to me Johansson and Kahun had good chemistry at the end of the season. To me the defense looks like a good puck moving six defenseman to me.

McCabe is a Terrible puck mover. Hes a fine 3rd pairing defenseman, same with montour but there is not one guy on this team that should be playing against top competition. Larsson was very good but Simmonds wasnt at all.

This team is still a one line team

I agree on Mccabe he’s probably the weakest defenseman with the puck, he plays well with Montour. I don’t want the Wayne train back, but Botterill probably likes him plus he wants to stay. I really think the lines are good, putting Skinner with Eichel again will help them out, plus the depth is good in my opinion not great.

I think olofsson scores 30 with eichel. You have to get better linemates for skinner and he should be fine (hes never going to have people say hes earning his contract of course). The problem last year was johansson, who should not be at center, and sheary were his linemates. Putting him with eichel, to me at least, would just be an attempt to justify his contract, at the expense of olofsson, which kinda puts us back as a one line team.

I see what you’re point. I think they need to put Skinner with Eichel again maybe put Reinhart with Olofsson and move up Kahun or Fast?
