That would be interesting, although buffalo has invested high picks in LHD with Dahlin (2018 #1), Samuelsson (2018 #32), Johnson (2019 #31). Not sure we go down that road again.

With a dearth of forward prospects this pick could be used to select one or trade for a forward.

Bruins dont accept the ducks trade. I arent giving up Urho for Fowler. Much less throwing stuff in.
Griz deal is good valuewise who knows if it happens

Contracts are all good.
Lines are good.

Overall: Ok, that first trade reallly brings it down

Don't know that is enough for ANH to deal Fowler.

-Moore is equal to 5th round pick
-JFK is an unknown if he returns and he looks like he'd be a 3rd line center at best
-Vaak is the best piece in the deal, could play in the NHL now and has top 4 upside
-3rd rounder most likely is a late 3rd

Don't see Moore or JFK adding much value to the deal (if any), so does Vaak + 3rd really get ANH thinking of moving Fowler? I don't think so.

As @ON3M4N so accurately points out, that isn't close to getting Fowler even if the Ducks needed LD. However, Anaheim isn't trading Fowler (or anyone else) unless they get back an NHL-ready RD.

Anaheim won't take less for Fowler than what Los Angeles got for Muzzin, not only because Fowler is superior offensively than Muzz but also because he's not a free agent anytime soon.
