- Get some local talent in Weegar. He's a good top 4 RHD who's up for a raise. He's a candidate to be moved unless they can deal Stralman and his contract. Seems like a great compliment guy for Chabot. Tierney can fill in the middle 6 with Wallmark if they do not resign Haula. Jaros can step in on the bottom pair RHD or as the 7th, depending if Priskie is ready to play full time NHL. I added a 3rd for FLA because I think Tierney holds good value as a dependable veteran C with RFA, but whatever gets the deal done, OTT can add a 2nd for all I care they have so many draft picks.

I know getting Tkachuk from Calgary is unlikley, but I would love to unite the Tkachuk brothers. Give up Duclair to fill in the top 6, L. Brown who could step in the NHL next year and produce, Thomson to add to their shallow RHD prospect depth and our 18th + 33rd overall picks. Get back Tkachuk and Bennett who I think needs a fresh start and clears out his contract if he's just gonna be a 4th liner in CGY. This trade also frees up some cap, allowing for some potential UFA additions in CGY's top 6 (Toffoli, Hoffman, Dadanov) or even RHD (Petro?, Vatanen, Tanev) resign Brodie. If OTT wins the lottery and take Lafreneire, I doubt they'll make this deal and instead make a big package for their future top C.

- See Byfield playing in the middle 6, hard to see him back in the O next year. Don't know too much about Stutzle other than he's absolutely nasty, he could be NHL ready but I doubt he'd stay in the DEL and would likely play in Ottawa or Belleville.

- Assume Raymond/Holtz or whoever they pick with their 2nd top 5 pick start in Belleville but could always take an NHL spot from Formenton, or Balcers. Batherson should be a full time NHLer.
