Flames would probably want dobson and Lou wouldn't even do that 1 for 1 so its unlikely gaudreau gets traded to the islanders.

If you want zero production in the playoffs by all means go all in. Last 2 play off series 9 games, 3 pts, -6, career in the playoffs 20 games 12 points -8. Just saying.

Eberle was a non playoff producer on a different team, and look what he did last year.

That’s fine, but Gaudreau was suppose to be the guy that scores on the #1 seed in the West last year and he disappeared. Eberle was significantly younger when he experienced those struggles.
