Yea i didnt spend too much time editing the lines. But you have to keep that 2nd line together with TT/PD/BG

Those are good lines

Wouldn’t have probably traded for Drouin either if we have had Aho. But we would probably not have Kotkaniemi since we wouldn’t probably drafted 3th overall that year.

exactly. its so speculative. who knows how MTL would've done if they drafted Aho in 2015. Also, who knows if Aho would've developed properly. its a bunch of "what ifs". the most realistic scenario would be, if Canes didnt match Aho... what would MTL look like today? my guess is they would've traded Drouin for help on the LH side. would've completely changed their offseason.

would've been their roster headed into the season

They would have traded Domi. He was coming off a 72 point season as a center, he would've get a much better LHD then Drouin at that time.

theres an argument to be made sure. but why would they trade a player who had the most points a Hab has had in over a decade? I dont think Domi would've been traded, despite him likely having a career season. It would've been a smart move, but I dont think Bergavin would've done it

Exactly i don’t really like those post since it’s so easy years later to make that exercise. But that would have change the whole outcome of the evenement between then and the present.

Bergevin would have known Aho would come in and produce more then Domi though and looking long term Domi will be a high cap hit then Drouin + as stupid as it is french would stay over English
