Description

Hoping Canes' are willing to part with Fleury since they have 3 LHD ahead of him and under contract for another 3+ yrs. If Carolina says no, then I would sign Edmundson for 4 yrs @ $3.5M cap hit. He would then take Hayden's spot in my line up.

I think you're overpaying slightly for Allen, and maybe not giving enough for Fleury.
For Allen, I'd ask for a 2nd back from STL or something like that...
And for Fleury, I'd give 2 2nds...

Ouellet is probably going to leave and Weise is not needed. Also, it's probably not worth it to get Toffoli. Caufield, KK, Poehling, Ylonen, etc. will need spots soon.

Toffoli and Weise are definitely not needed - save that $$$ and bring back Kovalchuk for secondary scoring and wing depth.
Jake Allen as a cap dump for St. Louis seems like a fair trade but remove Teasdale and one of the picks.
I'm intrigued with the possibility of trading for H.Fleury.
Could be a bit of a steal if MB plays his cards rights. I'm only skeptical about his ceiling? is he 1st. pairing potential? Big minute eater? Special Teams QB?
If he's anything less than that then I don't think it would be the right move to go after him since we already an abundance of this in our LD both currently and into the future (ie. Chiarot, Romanov, Mete, - with Kulak, Oulette, Alzner, Leskinen and Olofson who can be used as backups)...we also have a pretty healthy pipeline in LD with (Harris, Struble, Norlinder and Fairbrother - all who are not projected to be top pairing D either.)
So again, if he's projected as a 1st pairing D - go after him but you may need to sweeten the pot more.

That's probably a realistic value for Fleury. I don't see Montreal being interested in him, but that's fair value.
