    Yeah almost any goaltender besides Smith would be an upgrade for Edmonton.

    I'd let Pat Russell walk and keep Benson in the AHL a little while longer. That money allows you to sign a better #3C than Athanasiou, and to then keep AA as a full-time winger.

    I think you're asking for too much in the Montreal trade, but if they bite on it, I'll happily take it.

    yah, the point of this post was to show that we could sigh everybody on the oilers to extensions.
