**Not a current trade**

If COL traded for Stone back at the 2019 TDL

At the time of the trade COL didnt even have Byram so this doesnt make sense but I wanted to do it anyway. I tried to make a similar package to what OTT received

That would be unfair lol - adding a top 3 winger to an already stacked forward core. Ottawa would have accepted considering byram is a better prospect than brannstrom.

Ottawa likely takes a C like Turcotte or Cozens. Maybe then they take Heinola over Thomson to get an LD.

    1. Kucherov
    2. Kane
    2. Pastrnak
    4. Wheeler
    5. Tarasenko
    6. Wheeler
    7. Marner
    8. Rantanen
    9. Stone
    10. Teravainen
    11. Nylander
    12. Konency
    ...

Top 10 RW, but i always feel like he is talked about as being far better than he really is. His contract isn't great either.

The only two players who should be ahead of Stone is Kuch and maybe Pasta

wheeler is listed twice, so i have the same top 8 as you but in a different order

    Tier 1
    Kuch
    Kane
    Pastrnak
    Tier 2
    Stone
    Marner
    Rantanen
    Wheeler
    Tarasenko

Everyone in my tier 2 is close together though. I feel like people who are super into advanced stats hype him up so much that I guess you could say hes overrated but I think hes top 5 in the league so he deserves hype
