Well that's one way to expedite a rebuild squinty smile

I think Islanders match that offershee though, they can't afford to let aother star center leave. Krug probably gets more than that, but I guess he might take a hometown discount to go back to Michigan.

Krug probably gets $8M+. With Barzal you're right NYI aren't going to let him go that easy. At the same time I don't think Detroit can afford to give up that many picks on one player.

I don't see in what world Krug gets 8 million a season. He's a pp machine for sure but he's not even close to a complete defensman. I'd give him 7 over 5 years but that's it.
