Why would Matt Martin on a line with Jack Eichel be fun? So we can watch him blow layup goals all season as we watch a 5th liner play 22 minutes a game with hooves for hands?

Because no one would touch Eichel. Plus Martin played with Marner in Toronto so it’s not like he’s a bum

Eichel has played 5 years in the league and faced one border line hit.

It isn't 1974 anymore.

I like Mittelstadt a lot as a prospect but montour is a RD and that is not a need at all for MTL so MTL would decline giving away Domi and not filling a LD need.

Martin is not really an enforcer anymore. He has not fought much this year, but can still be an effective physical 12/13 forward on a team.

Isles are more likely to move Leddy than Toews.

I get it, but Kassian works decently well alongside McDavid because he can skate really well and can finish. Martin cannot do these things. Marcus Foligno would be the perfect player for Eichel, but we traded him for a 4th and Frolik (barf)
