Johnsons contract isn't great. Especially if they CBO that and they go after a big free agent. Plus if Timmins makes the jump, that's a 6 mil 3rd pair D

What about the expansion draft?

Kaut is a RW not a C, and I would rather have Compher than Labanc for that price

The odds of the Avs signing 1 of Nieto or Calvert for the 21-22 season are almost zero. Signing both of them is absolutely not going to happen. Personally I’d rather have Compher on his contract than LaBanc on that contract. Bowers and Kaut will both be on the team full time as well.

Well he did make a season 21/22 team so who knows what the cap is at that time
