Montreal isn't downgrading from a 2c to a 3c

Montreal would turn that down in a heartbeat. There no interesting pieces in that deal. Roslovic is heading into is fourth season and haven’t show any sign of improvement since he came to the league. He look like a below average third line players. Considering that he get mostly offensive zone start is number are not good at all.
Perreault is a overpaid 1 year rental and Niku can’t seem to adapt to the Nhl. Nothing Montreal doesn’t already have in their line up. Mr. Cheveldayoff will have to do much better if he want to keep good relation with Bergevin.

Losing Copp would be tough. I think he's one of the Jets' most important players. Plays in all facets of the game

Ottawa also declines. I like Bryan Little; he's a right hand draw (which OTT needs) and his cap hit is higher than what's actually owed, with no bonuses (which Melnyk likes).
But he's under contract for 4 more years and he'd for sure be an overpaid bottom 6 pivot that we don't need within 2.
Also Logan Stanley isn't looking so great. We've already got Logan Brown from the 2016 draft struggling to show NHL potential, we don't need another questionable 2016 1st round pick in Belleville. OTT knows their 2nd round pick in 2020 could get them Yan Kuznetsov, Tyler Kleven or maybe even Jérémie Poirier and given where Ottawa is in the rebuild I'd pass on Logan Stanley for any of those guys.
