The point is Bracco has NO future in Toronto. That's clear. Asking for Andersson and a pick in return is laughable.

Leafs aren't getting much back (mid rounder imo), but I think his game is worth a 5th round gamble.

Why is it laughable what has Andersson done to gain all that value? Plus the pick is conditional on Bracco being what I think he is. If he plays like Lias did this season the Leafs get nothing.

Andersson has time to marinate in the AHL without having to clear waivers. Think that's my hang up there. Bracco has a year left I think, although I could see 5-10 teams taking a chance just to see if his AHL game translates, after a trying season of injury and perosnal leave.

Not by much. I agree, Bracco isn't worth Andersson and a pick but the difference between Bracco and Andersson is a 5th at most. Andersson has had almost 70 NHL games and hasn't even cracked 10 points and looks like he'll be a career AHLer, he has very little value, if any.

Fail to see the point there. In a flat cap scenario, one might argue THAT IS the value, a cheap contract that COULD step into the NHL. That is something Andersson, right now cannot do, and the debates persist he won't do. (My opinion differs, but his stock is falling faster the the Dow Jones Index).
