Realistically, it would be very very expensive to dump the Turris 4 years @ 6M after 19/20.

Nashville cant afford to keep paying their 4C/Healthy scratch 6M per game.

Turris isnt playing well. OTT would give NSH an NHL ready 3rd C, an experienced C whom would be completely off their books next year on the cheap.

Ottawa is willing to take his big contract because we need to make the floor, the community loves him, and he would be a good vet with Hainsey/Boedker/Ennis/Namestnikov/Anderson all departing this year

C swap to not **** up the development of any of the kids in other positions in either program.

This makes sense if NSH has a place to put that cap space. So if you have a second trade idea for NSH to use the space for (maybe the Marner pick up others suggested, idk) Then this idea has weight.
