It's not a bad offer for a guy on the wrong side of 30. But but honest feedback is replace Lowry with Copp, and replace Appleton with Roslovic. Should be able to downgrade the second first at that point - but that's 3 young NHLers for Teows.

Honest opinion is regardless the Jets are giving up way too much, and would leave holes in the foreard core all over the place to fill. As good a fit a Teows maybe, just too much to give up in reality.

Big no from the Hawks. A toews trade just won't ever happen. Teams don't want to give up a ton for a guy over 30 making 10.5 mil, hawks dont want to move their leader, captain, and near ppg forward for less than a big haul. Plus, Toews won't waive anyways. Him and kane have been very clear that they want to play their whole career in Chicago.

I’d actually entertain any offers for Kane and toews as long as they waive. Also, they’ve made mention that if the team does end up rebuilding at some point, they don’t know if they’d wait it out. Who knows what that means or if that would ever come to pass.

As for this trade, besides the two first rounders, I can’t say I like any of the players involved. Due respect, of course, but maybe just a little too much quantity. It’s close, don’t get me wrong, but I’d like someone like vesalainen involved.
